REVIEW: Lust Have It Beauty Box January 2014

YAYY!!! Today has been an awesome day with me receiving 2 packages \0/ One of them being Real Techniques brushes from iherb.com and the other from Lust Have It! I decided to try out lust have it for one month to see whether i liked it or not.

Lust Have It is an Australian Beauty Box providing 5-6 samples per month through a monthly subscription. Similar to Bella Box (which i reviewed earlier), my main purpose was to get a feel of these beauty boxes and possibly decide on a favourite in which i may continue my subscription. It's definitely difficult seeing as there are quite a number of beauty boxes in the market.

Judging by the box, Lust Have It has beat Bellabox this month, the magnetic hard cardboard box definitely beats the usual thin cardboard box from bellabox.

The contents of this month's box! I think this month's box had at least 2 full size items and 1 deluxe sample size.

1. Invisible Zinc Tinted Daywear (20ml - Full Size)
Firstly, i'm quite confused as the full size product in the photo provided on the card looks different to the one i have here. They listed it has full size though. This product retails for AUD $14.95. I'm guessing this is like tinted moisturiser? Got the medium shade, which i'm not sure if it'll suit - cos i'm more of a lighter skin tone. The product boasts about it's zinc sunscreen ability with a SPF 30+ and UVA - UVB. Will try this product out since it's still summer and quite hot.

2. Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 8% AHA GEL (30ml deluxe sample size)
Excited to use this one as i'm always looking for what better exfoliants are out there! This one aims to brighten and create better skin tones. Looking forward to using this as well. The 118ml full size product is worth AUD $45.80.
3. Simple Skincare Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes (sample 7 wipes)
Yet another back of facial wipes. Probably good to take when i'm on holidays - but i don't have enough holidays to use all these sample facial wipes -.-" Would've liked to see other products in these boxes besides too many facial wipes. What about cleansing lotions or even cleansing foams? The full size is 25 wipes selling for AUD $6.99.

4. Model Co. Shine Ultra Lip Gloss (Full size 4ml)
Excited to try this out as i received a really nice light shimmering pink (colour: strip tease)! Hopefully i won't be receiving model co. products over and over again in these boxes >< This lip gloss retails for AUD $18. Hate how it's so long though, sometimes it's hard to fit it in my make up bag, especially if i want to take it out. I mean...that's what the mirror is for? The lip gloss smells like candy though ^.^
5. Aveda Dry Remedy Daily Moisturizing Oil (sample 3ml)
The SMALLEST sample tube i've ever seen! I don't even think it can get any smaller! I even took a photo of my finger to compare lol! I think i will probably use this up after 3-4 uses. But YES, finally got a hair product - i really need these mositurising oil for my dry ends as i've been mentioning. Will definitely see if this is as good as looks. The full size 40ml product sells for AUD $25.
6. Evodia Lemon Sorbet Hand Cream (full size, 100ml)
Haven't heard of this Australian brand, but they were very generous to offer a full size hand cream this month. It claims to be hydrating and smoothing and made for hands. Smells great, will try - too bad i have too many hand/body creams. This product sells for AUD $17.95.

My rating: 3/5
Overall, only an "ok" box. It didn't live up to my expectation as i've actually heard better reviews on lust have it than for bellabox. I seemed to like bellabox more, but i think it really depends on what type of products you prefer. I just thought that i wasn't as excited to try out the items i received in this box as opposed to the ones in bellabox. Unfortunately, i won't be continuing my subscription. However, will definitely continue to follow Lust Have It and maybe subscribe again another time.
