Hello! Today i'm here to review the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel!
I recently purchased this product while i was travelling in Hong Kong, due to having really dry and flaky skin there as my skin wasn't adapting well to the weather there. It comes in a light, water consistency and aims to hydrate and boost the water content of your skin. The description indicates that it aims to moisturise and boost's your skin's water retention ability through a long period of time.
I found that the 50g of water gel came in a neat compact container with a simple, elegant design. It's really easy to twist the lid and i enjoy the colour and the texture of the water gel. It also smells nice which is a bonus!
By applying a little amount on my skin, you can see that it's very clear and light. When you apply it to your face, it doesn't feel thick or heavy - which some moisturisers tend to do. Instead, you feel a cooling sensation while you let your skin absorb the moisture from the gel. I would consider this product to be somewhat similar to the Laneige Water Bank Gel and other water gels in the market. However, i do think it's a less pricey product as opposed to them.
This product is specifically good to people who have combination/oily skin as it doesn't leave any oil or grease behind.

My rating: 4/5
Would i purchase again: Definitely! I like the fact that it's very light, i've used much more heavier water gels which do feel funny on the skin at first, but are for the Winter days in which my skin becomes very dry. I do have combination skin, so something light like this is useful in the summer months.
